Tourism in Gianyar Regency, namely :
1. Lebih beach is located in the southern region of Gianyar. From this east side beach you can see Lombok island and from the southern we also can see Nusa Penida Island. This is very beautiful beach with very famous food called satay languan. This beach by Hinduism use for ceremony.
2. Penataran Sasih Temple is located in Pejeng village along highway towards Tampaksiring attractions. This temple is famous because there is a huge nekara, with a height of 186,5 cm and 160 cm in diameter. Nekara bronze derived from prehistoric. What interesting in this temple is "moon pejeng" which arranged face mask with a pair of big ayes wideend, with long ears and earings made from coins to the nose triangel. A number of important statues of ancient statues found in this temple.
3. Archaeology Museum is located in the Bedulu Village, Blahbatuh, Gianyar. In the museum you can see the collection of ancient relics of human in transation of development Hindu culture - Buddhist Bali, west and east Nusa Tenggara. Collection of this museum is divided into two groups namely the are of era of BC and AD, starting from 8th century to 15 century.
4. Taro Elephant Park is located in Taro village, Tegallalang district, Gianyar, about 40 km from Denpasar. There is a forest village inhabitted by a group of animals such as cow/calf white. Now next to the forest area of cow/calf white Taro, has also developed a new tourist attraction trakking Elephant. The tourist can ride Elephant through the forest around the corridor/trail around the Taro village. If you want to swim (playing in the water) with the Elephant in the pond that avaible now.
6. Agung Rai Museum of ART (ARMA) still has two large buildings containing works of art owned by Agung Rai. Its better to visit this museum in the aftrenoon because after watching the collection of the museum visitor can dine at the cafe located in the museum and continued to watch traditional dance performances are staged at the museum complex. For the visitors wishing to enter the museum tocket fee is Rp.25.000,00
7. Ketewel Beach is located on the roadside by pass tohpati - kusamba, Ketewel Village, Gianyar. A lot of good surfer hunted inside or abroad. This beach is good for a beginner surfer or a pro surfer.
8. Bukit Jati Gianyar is located 2 km to the east of town of Gianyar. This place offer beautiful views. Its was initially a Hindu place of praying for the local people, but now they built a building as a place of art performances such as : staging of dance, percussion, martial art performance and other. The also has swimming pool. The swimming pool is situated at the foot of bukit jati. Water for the pool come from mountain springs. The hills area is good for teak and camping.
9. Safari Park is located in Serongga village, Gianyar. There are many different types of animals, ranging from the most savage to the most benign. There is laso Children play area and restaurant. There is avaible vehicle and driver to surround the area or used the private vehicle. All animals released there free like animals in the wild. The visitor entance fee is Rp.75.000,00.
10. Saba Beach is located approximately 4 km from the center of goverment in Blahbatuh towards the south, along the coastal area there are many tourism accommodation. This area is very interesting for enjoy equestrian sport.
11. Goa Gajah Temple is located in the west of the Bedulu village and approximately 6 km from ubud. There are also cave temples and holy water. Inside the cave there is statue of Ganesha as a symbol of science. Inside the cave there is a place for monks to meditate. For tourist entering the region of this object must buy ticket passes for adults is Rp. 6.000,00 and for children is Rp. 3.000,00.
12. Citra Bali Bird Park International located in Singapadu village, Sukawati distric, approximately 12 km from Denpasar. In this place tourist can see the variety of Birds. This park is inhabited by more than 1.000 birds of 250 species. Some of the birds is in the cage and some of them released in the park. There is also park that are designed similiar to rain forest. There is lake with fish and water plants. ITs also decorated with water birds, black swan, flaminggo, pelicans and others.
13. Bali Zoo Park is located within 10 minutes from Sukawati Art Market. There are many differnet kind of animals such as African Lion, Deer, Camel, Iguana, ect. Equipped with a beautiful tropical garden and natural. Entance Fee for domestic tourist is Rp.30.000,00 per person.
14. Sukawati Art Market is located in Sukawati village, Gianyar regency. It is alternative shopping place are cheap and complate in Gianyar regency. They selling various kinds of handicrafts such as statues, paintings, bags, purses, umbrellas, slippers, ect.
15. Petulu Village, Ubud is the most interesting matter there is habitat of heron birds, thousand of white birds with long neck lived in trees along the area of the Petulu village.In the aftrenoon is a good time to visit this place because all the birds just back from outside th ePetulu village. This village is located on the north ubud distric.
16. President's Palace of Tampaksiring is located Tampaksiring. The palace was made use of as the President's holliday accommodation with the family. This palace was stood on President initiative of number I Republic of Indonesia, Seokarno. There is also building for Conference and for the reception.
17. Gunung Kawi Temple is located in Tampaksiring and wasn't far from the Tampaksiring Palace. This area of the mountain kawi very wide. Its divided into two and saparated by the Pakerisan river.You will see the temple after passed the gateway and 315 steps at the edge of the Pakerisan river. Tampaksiring area is located 40 km from Denpasar city.
18. The uniqueness of the Tegallalang area as teh are of agriculture. The area with rice cultivation was organised with terrasering. Tourist can see beautiful panoramaof very good rice cultivation. This is called terasering ceking.
